I decided I wanted to step on the stage again, after not competing for five years, to celebrate my 50th birthday in September 2023.
I started training and attempted to go back to training the same way that I trained before. My body wasn't having it. After being honest with myself, I realized that my body had atrophied and my imbalances had gotten worse due to me not training consistently for the past few years. It's true "if you don't move it, you will lose it."
So I started working on doing corrective exercises to improve my imbalances. My body responded well. Now I incorporate corrective exercises into my program. As we age, I believe it's important to always incorporate corrective exercises into your workouts. Corrective exercises address and fix movement compensations and imbalances to improve the overall quality of movement during workouts and in everyday life.

In my Fit Over 40 Program, I develop a customize work out program for you based on your fitness level and to help you achieve your fitness goals. I demonstrate and educate you on the importance of each exercise. I pay close attention to you performing each exercises -- making corrections as needed throughout the session.
